Reverend Williams was marked by God from an early age-called and anointed as a child to proclaim the truth and do the will of the Lord. He shares a close bond with his brother, Kevin J. Williams, who resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
On October 27, 2018, Rev. Williams entered into holy matrimony with the love of his life, the beautiful and gracious Kristen Simone Williams. Together, they exemplify godly partnership and shared purpose in ministry.
Rev. Williams holds a distinguished academic background, beginning with a degree from South Carolina State University where he majored in Chemistry with a pre-dentistry focus and minored in Biology and Psychology. His call to ministry led him to further theological training at Morehouse’s Interdenominational Theological Center. He went on to earn a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies from Carolina College of Theology and has been accepted into the Master of Divinity program at Andersonville Theological Seminary.
His preaching journey began with his initial sermon on December 4, 2016, at Word & Deed Ministries Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Daniel G. Blackshear. Since then, Rev. Williams has served in various ministry capacities-including teaching, preaching, pastoral counseling, and leadership development—faithfully supporting the vision of every pastor under whom he has served.
Further affirming his call, Rev. Williams received his Baptist ministry license and was ordained at New Vernon Baptist Church under the esteemed Dr. Johnny K. Miller.
